It's been awhile. I should probably stop even recognizing that fact because it's starting to make it's way into more than half of my posts. My goal of being consistent this year is obviously failing for the obvious reason (hellllllo, we moved cross-country!) and then the other reasons are likely just excuses that I should probably stop using. I can promise no more apologies (or at least far fewer), but the excuses might still be there. We are actually settled now and you will likely be hearing from me more frequently (three times this week to be exact!) Thank you to each and every one of you who puts up with my inconsistence and potential over-honesty.
This Monday means more to me than Mondays used to. I started working an actual 9-5 last week until I am able to rebuild my photography business here (there were definitely gives and takes with this move, fortunately it was mostly takes) and let me tell you, I already miss my routine. I miss drinking coffee in my pajamas while I respond to emails and edit with kittens on my lap. My new gig doesn't allow for kittens to tag along and they really appreciate it if I shower and put adult clothing on before 8am. It's a lot to ask if we're being honest. Coffee is allowed though so I'll likely be filling my favorite travel mug with my favorite TJ's coffee and heading off with the rest of you to embrace the day.
Here are a few things keeping my spirits and motivation up on this Monday.
1. I want this picture for our new apartment. It's so calming and the colors are beyond gorgeous.
2. Already nailing the pouty face.
3. Denver friends, this is for you. Josiah and I have only used it once, but are loving it so far. It's a great excuse to get out and explore the city on the cheap.
4. Death over decaf, yo.
5. Add these to the weekends must-make list.
